Within easy driving distance there are Blue Flag beaches, National Trust properties, Steam railways, funfairs, theme parks and wildlife centres, as well as horse and dog racing.
Situated between Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Cromer, Stalham is the perfect base for exploring this unspoilt county.

Broadside Chalet Park is situated at Stalham, and could not be better placed as your starting point for exploring Norfolk. It is centrally placed to Norwich, Great Yarmouth and Cromer, and has good bus and coach services.
Stalham itself has a lot to offer, with a market every Tuesday, and a frequent Farmers Sale which is usually held on a Saturday. Half day closing is Wednesday. Also Tesco Supermarket, 2 banks with cashpoint machines, a Post Office, hairdressers, bakers, excellent local butcher, and a good selection of shops.
There are also several café’s and Take Away’s to choose from including Fish and Chips, Southern Fried Chicken, Chinese, Indian and Kebabs and Pizza - something for every one!
Home to big cats, primates and reptiles, Thrigby is just one of the wildlife attractions in Norfolk.
Bure Valley Railway
Norfolk’s longest 15” gauge line runs between Aylsham and Wroxham and is a great day out for all the family.
The Pleasure Beach
Home to a vintage wooden roller coaster, the Pleasure Beach in Gt Yarmouth is a top attraction for a day out.
Norwich is indeed “A Fine City” with 2 cathedrals, a castle & the historic Elm Hill as well as plenty of shops.
